Eisa Alsubousi, director of Strategic and Creative Affairs of the Organising Committee of the 53rd UAE National Day Celebration, remarked:
“We are delighted to invite everyone to share in the joy of this historic moment, as we celebrate the unification of the seven emirates. To support these festivities, we have created comprehensive guides to inspire and assist in preparations to celebrate sustainably. We encourage government entities, private companies, schools, and families to download these resources and join in marking this significant celebration.”
This year’s Eid Al Etihad promises an exciting lineup of events, from spectacular fireworks displays to cultural performances and family-friendly activities. Across the Emirates, residents and visitors can enjoy concerts, parades, and mesmerizing light shows that highlight the nation’s achievements.
UAE National Day is Monday, December 2, 2024. Before the grand celebrations of Eid Al Etihad, the UAE will also observe Commemoration Day on Sunday, December 1. This significant day, previously known as Martyrs' Day, honors the sacrifices made by the nation's heroes.
Residents can enjoy a four-day break from Friday, November 29, to Tuesday, December 3, 2024. This extended break offers families a perfect opportunity to come together and enjoy the vibrant festivities., covering both Commemoration Day and UAE National Day Holiday 2024. The final public holiday for the year will be New Year’s Day on January 1, 2025, providing one more occasion to gather and celebrate.
