Explore SignatureMarking a prominent shift in Dubai’s landscape, the Dubai Land Department has updated the names of 28 notable areas, including Sheikh Zayed Road. The new name for Sheikh Zayed Road, one of the busiest communities in Dubai, is Burj Khalifa. The world's tallest tower at 830 meters, the Burj Khalifa, dominates Dubai’s skyline, overshadowing other renowned skyscrapers along Dubai's bustling thoroughfare.
The Sheikh Zayed Road neighborhood in Dubai houses an array of apartments, offices, and hotel apartments. Recognized for its proximity to Downtown, Business Bay, JLT, and Dubai Marina, the district enjoys popularity among investors, renters, and tourists. Although the Sheikh Zayed Road area will be referred to as Burj Khalifa from now, the namesake road will likely keep the same name.

Notable examples include Al Ghaf Street and other streets receiving names such as Al Sidr, Basil, Al Faggy, Al Samr, and Al Sharish.
In addition to the change in area names, another notable update involves renaming Address Fountain Views. The hotel, seamlessly linked to the iconic Dubai Mall, will henceforth be called Address Dubai Mall.
This development follows Abu Dhabi National Hotels' recent announcement of taking over The Address Dubai Mall and rebranding it as Kempinski Central Avenue Dubai. ADNH has also renamed Address Boulevard to Kempinski The Boulevard, The Address Dubai Marina to JW Marriott Hotel Marina, Vida Downtown Dubai to Hotel Boulevard, Autograph Collection, and Manzil Downtown Dubai to The Heritage Hotel, Autograph Collection.
