Explore SignatureA significant addition to Dubai’s retail landscape was announced by Emaar. The new mega mall, Dubai Square, will be located in Dubai Creek Harbour, and it will be three times the size of Downtown Dubai.
Backed by an AED 180 billion investment, the project reflects Emaar’s vision of creating large-scale developments built around visitor experience. Here's everything we know so far about Dubai's new mega mall.
Dubai's new shopping mall development will span 2.6 million sq. m., and is planned as an indoor city with wide, walkable spaces. The mall will connect to the upcoming Dubai Creek Tower, and it will also include routes that allow electric vehicles to move through select areas, supporting the city’s long-term sustainability goals.

First revealed in 2018, the project was further expanded in 2024, with Emaar increasing its scale and refining its long-term objectives. As part of Dubai's new shopping mall development, Dubai Square will bring together shopping, dining, entertainment, hospitality, and digital-first experiences across a single destination.
In early 2024, Emaar confirmed that detailed design work for the mall had been completed. The developer is applying advanced digital systems and AI tools to shape operations, design flows, and future visitor needs. After more than 15 years of welcoming over 100 million visitors annually and partnering with over 1,500 retailers, Emaar is translating its experience into a new generation of retail planning.
Dubai Square is counted among the largest mall projects in Dubai, functioning as the second-largest shopping and entertainment destination within Dubai Creek Harbour, while also being the largest new mall currently under development in the UAE.
Dubai Square is a core element within the Dubai Creek Harbour masterplan, an area that includes 7.4 million square meters of residential space, 500,000 square meters of green areas, and direct access to the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary. It will support a growing district known for waterfront living, leisure attractions, and commercial activity.
Positioned within one of Dubai’s future shopping and lifestyle projects, the mall will integrate pedestrian-friendly routes, mobility options, and a wide selection of leisure and retail spaces.
It is located in Dubai Creek Harbour and will connect to the upcoming Dubai Creek Tower.
It will be three times the size of Downtown Dubai and structured as an indoor city with extensive retail, entertainment, and leisure areas.
It is expected to open within the next three years.
The developer is Emaar Properties.
