Already home to the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, the city is now set to add another monumental structure to its iconic skyline. We introduce you to Burj Azizi Tower at Sheikh Zayed Road, a staggering 725-meter skyscraper! We’ve gathered all the key information about the soon-to-be world’s second-tallest tower. So, get ready to rise above the skyline!
Located along the bustling Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai’s World Trade Center district, Burj Azizi will stand as a new benchmark for architectural brilliance and luxury living. Developed by Azizi Developments, this marvel of modern engineering is scheduled for completion in 2028.
Mirwais Azizi, founder and chairman of Azizi Developments, envisions Burj Azizi as a tribute to Dubai’s ambitious spirit. He said:
"My vision for Burj Azizi is to create a lasting legacy, a monumental achievement in engineering, and a tribute to Dubai as a destination of choice for both residents and visitors,"
The tower’s intricate interior design will celebrate the world’s seven major cultures, blending tradition with modern luxury in a way that only Dubai can. Standing at an impressive 725 meters (2,379 feet), Burj Azizi will tower over all but one building, the magnificent Burj Khalifa, which still holds the title of the world’s tallest skyscraper at 828 meters.
While the height of Burj Azizi is undoubtedly impressive, its true marvel lies in its design and engineering. The world's second-tallest skyscraper’s foundation and piling work is already well underway, with the developers having meticulously planned for the unique challenges that come with constructing a supertall building.
The project has been approved by Dubai’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), ensuring that the tower complies with the city’s strict regulations for tall structures. According to Mirwais Azizi, the developer initially had two designs—one for a 526-meter tower and one for the now-approved 725-meter version. With the green light from authorities, the project is moving ahead at full speed.
What makes Burj Azizi Tower at Sheikh Zayed Road truly spectacular is its impressive collection of record-breaking features. The tower is set to feature 131+ floors of luxury living, shopping, and leisure. A highlight will be its seven-star, all-suite hotel, an opulent retreat that aims to redefine luxury. The world's highest hotel lobby will be perched on the 11th floor, while a vertical retail center will stretch across seven floors. This vertical retail experience promises a shopping adventure unlike any other, with luxury brands and boutique stores offering a curated selection of high-end goods.
The tower will also house the world’s highest nightclub, located on the 126th floor, as well as the world’s highest observation deck on the 130th floor. Dining at new heights will also take on a whole new meaning with Dubai’s highest restaurant located on the 122nd floor, a direct competitor to the Burj Khalifa’s At.mosphere restaurant.
The luxury doesn’t end there. The world's highest hotel room will be on the 118th floor, offering breathtaking views of the Dubai skyline. From this height, residents and guests can bask in the beauty of Dubai’s ever-evolving cityscape and experience the pinnacle of opulence.
In addition to its hotel and retail offerings, Burj Azizi Tower at Sheikh Zayed Road will feature a range of luxury residences, including penthouses, apartments, and holiday homes. These residences are designed to offer a sanctuary in the sky, complete with expansive living spaces, floor-to-ceiling windows, and stunning views of the Arabian Gulf and the Dubai skyline.
The interiors will be nothing short of spectacular, with each residence boasting modern, high-end finishes and state-of-the-art amenities. Whether you’re a local looking for a prestigious address or an international investor seeking a prime real estate opportunity, Burj Azizi offers unparalleled living spaces.
